Rodger Kuno vs Xabat Cobos

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Velodrom, Berlin,  taking place on 10/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rodger Kuno (13(12) - 0) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Xabat Cobos(30 - 11(2) - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Kuno and Cobos weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neffe Justus, and the three ringside judges are Ellard Heidtman, Varick Kuebler and Kolton Strebe.  

Round 1:

Kuno lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kuno is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Cobos's liver.  
Kuno walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kuno quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cobos throws a right hook, but Kuno ties up his opponent.  Kuno throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Kuno and breaks the clinch.

Cobos attempts to land a jab, but Kuno dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Kuno closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kuno steps inside and walks Cobos down, trapping him in the corner.  Kuno lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cobos quickly recovers. 
Kuno is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Cobos walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kuno is on target with a stinging cross.  
Kuno gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Cobos feints a left hook, but Kuno is not fooled and responds with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cobos's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cobos's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Kuno clinches his opponent.  Kuno leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kuno digs in a firm left hook to Cobos's body.  Kuno clinches his opponent.  Kuno pushes his forearm into Cobos's face.  The referee warns Kuno and breaks the clinch.  
Kuno lands a cross.  
Kuno closes the distance.  Kuno pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Cobos's body.  
Kuno closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kuno walks Cobos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kuno crashes a hurtful left hook to Cobos's body.  COBOS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Kuno feints a left hook, but Cobos ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kuno advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kuno drives a weighty left hook into Cobos's body.  COBOS IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Kuno lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kuno connects with a left hook.  
Kuno lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND COBOS IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Cobos almost instantly recovers.

Kuno drives a powerful right uppercut into Cobos's body.  COBOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cobos almost instantly recovers.

Kuno slams a DEVASTATING right uppercut into Cobos's body.  COBOS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE COBOS CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Kuno!
