Myung-joo Quon vs Dong-jun Pai

Boxing Daily Report from the Baah Promotions promoted show at Kee-hee Noh Gym, Daegu,  taking place on 02/09/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Myung-joo Quon (3 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Dong-jun Pai(11 - 6 - 2) from Daegu, South Korea.  Quon weighed in at 118 pounds, while Pai weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hyun-jun Chon, and the three ringside judges are Jeong-ho Toh, Soo-il Kwan and Seung-gyu Um.  

Round 1: 

Quon tries to land a left hook, but Pai sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Quon pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Pai advances into close range and tries to land a left uppercut, but Quon blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pai cuts off the ring, trapping Quon on the ropes.  As Pai tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Quon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Quon is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Pai gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Quon hits home with a left hook.  
Pai hits home with a cross.  
Pai lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Quon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Pai's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Quon steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Quon.  That has caused a minor cut in the corner of the right eye.  .
