Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at County Coliseum, El Paso,  taking place on 15/10/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Mabin (12(8) - 0) who hails from Houston, USA and Jasper Pottenger(6 - 10(1) - 1) from Saint Paul, USA.  Mabin weighed in at 168 pounds, while Pottenger weighed in at 168 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Asif Farra, and the three ringside judges are Mike Ruane, Amon East and Jamie Milland.  

Round 1: 

Mabin is looking to close the distance.  Mabin pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin drives a right uppercut into Pottenger's ribcage.  
Mabin finds the target with a jab.  
Mabin closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mabin pushes his forearm into Pottenger's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mabin about fouling.  
Mabin is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to Pottenger's body.  
Mabin lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mabin steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mabin lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin leans on his opponent using all his weight. Mabin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pottenger's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Pottenger is on target with a right uppercut.  
Pottenger pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Mabin closes the distance.  Mabin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mabin pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Mabin lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mabin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mabin lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS POTTENGER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Pottenger recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pottenger steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Mabin sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mabin walks Pottenger onto the ropes.  Mabin drives a left uppercut into Pottenger's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pottenger's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Pottenger's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Pottenger's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pottenger's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mabin lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Mabin closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mabin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mabin digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Mabin drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Mabin holds on to his opponent.  Mabin uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pottenger behind the head. Mabin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mabin is on target with a right hook.  
Mabin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mabin lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS POTTENGER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Mabin sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Mabin crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Pottenger's ribs.  POTTENGER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Pottenger now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mabin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Pottenger could be stopped here, if Mabin can find the right shot!  Mabin lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING POTTENGER DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Pottenger can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mabin!
