Gus Aikins vs David Lino

Boxing Daily Report from the Vexa promoted show at Syed Yousuf Gym, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/09/2044:

Clearly Vexa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Aikins (5 - 22(1) - 2) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and David Lino(23(12) - 4 - 1(NC)) from Riverside, USA.  Aikins weighed in at 174 pounds And 7 ounces, while Lino weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Josh Butchart, and the three ringside judges are James Keay, John Edmundson and Michael Thomason.  

Round 1: 

Lino closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Aikins's body.  
Lino lands a solid left hook.  
Lino switches the action to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Lino advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Lino holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lino pushes his forearm into Aikins's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lino to stop fouling.  
Lino tries to land a cross, but Aikins sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lino is looking to close the distance and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Lino walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Lino is on target with a firm right hook.  
Lino digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Lino pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Aikins gets on the inside.  Lino lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Lino steps inside.  Lino sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Aikins's body.  
Aikins tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Lino gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lino lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lino hits home with a left hook.  
Lino lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lino closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!

Lino pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  As Aikins tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lino is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Aikins gets on the inside.  Lino pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Lino pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lino walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lino is looking to force the stoppage!  Lino SLAMS a big right hook into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES AIKINS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Aikins now seems to have his senses back.  
Lino pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS AIKINS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lino!
