Leeroy Bart vs Roger McClanahan

Boxing Daily Report from the Zulu Promotions promoted show at Virginia Beach Ghazal, Virginia Beach,  taking place on 05/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leeroy Bart (6 - 13(2) - 2) who hails from Norfolk, USA and Roger McClanahan(9 - 9 - 2) from Richmond, USA.  Bart weighed in at 225 pounds and 7 ounces, while McClanahan weighed in at 239 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Wallach, and the three ringside judges are Justin Morgan, Hugh Cassidy and Hugh Cassidy.  

Round 1: 

Bart closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
McClanahan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

McClanahan lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McClanahan.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
McClanahan steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.
