Angel Merino vs Reynaldo Maio

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing promoted show at San Juan Cosme, San Juan,  taking place on 05/09/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Merino (8 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Reynaldo Maio(3 - 4(2) - 3) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Merino and Maio weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Laurel, and the three ringside judges are Angel Zambrano, Fausto Pinero and Carlos Torres.

Maio is looking to close the distance.  Merino sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Merino throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Merino clinches his opponent.  Merino uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Maio's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Merino about fouling.  
Maio steps inside.  Merino attempts to land a left hook, but Maio dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
