Chris Caruthers vs John Wham

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arkansas promoted show at Mark Cook Gym, Fayetteville,  taking place on 06/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Arkansas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Caruthers (2 - 7) who hails from Little Rock, USA and John Wham(31(16) - 9(1) - 1) from Fayetteville, USA.  Both Caruthers and Wham weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bell, and the three ringside judges are Ian Suit, Paul Sherratt and Richard Ravens.  

Round 1: 

Wham lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wham steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Wham lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Wham clinches his opponent.  Wham hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wham.
