Sam Curtin vs Marceli Jurkowski

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin,  taking place on 17/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Curtin (16(10) - 0) who hails from Allentown, USA and Marceli Jurkowski(31(8) - 16(13) - 2) from Vilnius, Lithuania.  Both Curtin and Jurkowski weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Smith, and the three ringside judges are Noah Fergusson, Harry Burwick and Ellis Girvan.  

Round 1: 

Curtin is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Curtin clinches his opponent.  Curtin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Curtin.  
Jurkowski tries to step out of his opponents range.  Curtin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jurkowski throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Jurkowski advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Curtin ties up his opponent.  Curtin hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Curtin closes the distance.  Jurkowski is on target with a left hook to Curtin's body.  Curtin clinches his opponent.  Jurkowski pushes his forearm into Curtin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jurkowski.

Curtin lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!
