John McCaw vs Juan Loria

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Diicks Sporting Goods Park, Denver,  taking place on 08/10/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McCaw (28(21) - 2(2)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Juan Loria(62(48) - 24(13) - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both McCaw and Loria weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Nanney, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Davie, Patrick Mawhinney and Mark Crabb.  

Round 1: 

McCaw gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Loria digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Loria attempts to land a right hook, but McCaw blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Loria pivots to the left of his opponent.  Loria drives a left hook into his opponents body.  McCaw ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McCaw pushes his forearm into Loria's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Loria quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid cross.  
Loria lands a left hook to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
McCaw gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McCaw attempts to land a jab, but Loria sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCaw gets on the inside.  Loria connects with a left hook.  McCaw holds on to his opponent.  McCaw leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Loria drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
McCaw closes the distance and digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Loria tries to step out of his opponents range.  McCaw lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Loria is on target with a stinging cross.  
Loria is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross to McCaw's body.  Loria throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCaw drives a solid left hook into Loria's body.

McCaw tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Loria behind the head. The ref breaks McCaw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCaw dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McCaw.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Loria is looking to keep his distance and connects with a solid overhand right.  
McCaw lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
McCaw advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McCaw throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCaw digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Loria sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Loria manages to force McCaw onto the ropes.  McCaw connects with a left hook.  
McCaw is looking to close the distance.  Loria tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCaw feints a cross, but Loria does not fall for it and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
McCaw advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Loria's ribs.  
McCaw digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  LORIA IS HURT!  Loria almost instantly recovers. 
McCaw closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Loria hits the target with a ramrod jab.  Loria tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
McCaw connects with a sharp cross.

McCaw is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
McCaw lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
McCaw is on target with a solid cross.  
McCaw lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCaw dabs at his face checking for damage.  McCaw has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
