Rex Aamodt vs John Cochran

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Colin Daley Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 07/09/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Aamodt (2 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and John Cochran(8 - 5 - 2) from Saint Paul, USA.  Aamodt weighed in at 200 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cochran weighed in at 199 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Power, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Langer, Zachary Mattus and Zachary Mattus.

Cochran closes the distance.  Cochran hits home with a left uppercut.  Cochran attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Aamodt time to recover.  
Cochran gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Aamodt connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Aamodt's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cochran's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Cochran wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aamodt dabs at his face checking for damage.
