Merrill de Lisle vs Travis Aboubakar

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Marc, Garoua,  taking place on 12/09/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Merrill de Lisle (38(35) - 14(6)) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Travis Aboubakar(10 - 6(4)) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both de Lisle and Aboubakar weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sinjon Ndjodo, and the three ringside judges are Justin Mbamba, Bayard Delahaye and Verity Shaznay.  

Round 1: 

Aboubakar throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
de Lisle lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

de Lisle gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Aboubakar almost instantly recovers. 
de Lisle slams a nasty left hook into his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABOUBAKAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Aboubakar quickly recovers.
