Brigham Pique vs Leggett Claude

Boxing Daily Report from the Mnyamane Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Duchamp, Abidjan,  taking place on 15/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brigham Pique (24(22) - 8(4)) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Leggett Claude(22 - 2(1) - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Pique and Claude weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olier Bartoli, and the three ringside judges are Dominique Gracq, Delano Wimille and Reinald Gillard.  

Round 1: 

Pique lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Pique steps inside and digs in a weighty right hook to Claude's body.  CLAUDE IS HURT!  Claude quickly recovers.

Pique tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.

Pique steps to the outside and hits home with a firm overhand left.  
Pique attempts to land a cross, but Claude slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Claude steps inside and drives a right hook into Pique's ribcage.  Pique clinches his opponent.  Claude pushes his forearm into Pique's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Claude about fouling.  
Pique is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Claude lands an overhand right.  
Pique lands a left hook to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Pique pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Claude's liver.  
Pique switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pique lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pique lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pique drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Pique lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Pique knows Claude is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Pique lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CLAUDE!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Claude has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Pique tries to keep the action at long range.  Pique is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Pique connects with a FIERCE right uppercut.  DOWN GOES CLAUDE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Claude now seems to have his senses back.  
Pique lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pique DETONATES a DEVASTATING cross on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES CLAUDE!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Pique!
