Manchu Pei vs Takeo Muramoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo,  taking place on 01/10/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WOWOW, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manchu Pei (64(59) - 5(3) - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeo Muramoto(12 - 1(1)) from Osaka, Japan.  Pei weighed in at 154 pounds, while Muramoto weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Nakano, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Shiroma, Takeo Kibe and Yuji Mihara.  

Round 1: 

Muramoto lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Muramoto forces Pei to back into the ropes.  Pei is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Muramoto pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Muramoto lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Muramoto is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Muramoto attempts to land a left hook, but Pei blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Pei switches the action to the outside.  Pei sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Muramoto is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  MURAMOTO IS HURT!  Muramoto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Muramoto manouvers Pei into a corner.  Pei lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Muramoto steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Muramoto walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Muramoto pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Pei is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Muramoto advances into close range.  Muramoto pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Pei tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pei switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Muramoto advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Pei on the ropes.  Muramoto lands a right uppercut.  
Muramoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Pei pivots to the right of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pei dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pei is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Pei lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Pei connects with a sharp overhand right.  Pei attempts to land a jab, but Muramoto sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Muramoto gets on the inside.  Pei is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pei lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Muramoto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Muramoto manages to force Pei onto the ropes.  Pei lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Muramoto pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Muramoto is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Pei quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Muramoto steps inside.  Muramoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Muramoto lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Muramoto attempts to land a left hook, but Pei slips the shot and counters with a WICKED left hook.  MURAMOTO IS HURT!  
Pei stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pei whips in a mean left hook to Muramoto's ribs.  MURAMOTO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Muramoto now seems to have his senses back.  
Pei switches the action to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Pei sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp jab into his opponents body.  
Muramoto gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Muramoto forces Pei to retreat onto the ropes.  Muramoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Muramoto tries to land a right hook, but Pei dodges the shot and counters with a hurtful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MURAMOTO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Muramoto quickly recovers. 
Muramoto pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pei lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pei switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but Muramoto blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pei lands a firm overhand right.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pei dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pei steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Pei lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pei steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Muramoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Pei steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Pei tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pei sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Muramoto gets on the inside.  Muramoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Muramoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Muramoto throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Pei senses Muramoto is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Pei is on target with a FIERCE right hook.  MURAMOTO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Pei!
