Carl McCorkle vs Oisin Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 15/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Irish-Leinster Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carl McCorkle (25(10) - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Oisin Connolly(6 - 9(2) - 2) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both McCorkle and Connolly weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Brisbane, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Higgins, Brandon Madigan and Liam Healey.  

Round 1: 

McCorkle closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  McCorkle ties up his opponent.  McCorkle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
