Naeem Koech vs Michael Gachu

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Ammar, Nairobi,  taking place on 15/09/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Naeem Koech (7 - 9(2) - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Michael Gachu(4 - 5 - 3) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Koech weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Gachu weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Andersson, and the three ringside judges are Armani Kipchoim, Kyrone Koimbori and Sam Waiyaki.  

Round 1: 

Gachu advances into close range.  Gachu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Koech has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.
