Aron Rice vs Tony Belan

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at Martyn Nixon Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 17/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aron Rice (9 - 15(1) - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Tony Belan(3(1) - 0) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Rice and Belan weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glyn Bowen, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Ozer, Griffith Batton and Clinton Birney.  

Round 1: 

Belan lands a cross.  
Rice advances into close range.  Belan lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Rice throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Belan time to recover.  
Belan is looking to close the distance.  Belan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Belan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rice tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
