Aketu Pai vs Mike Garrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Wellington Brown, Wellington,  taking place on 29/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aketu Pai (8 - 7(1)) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mike Garrick(17(4) - 3(2)) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Pai weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Garrick weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Murray, and the three ringside judges are Brad Milner, Alen Ritchey and Geoff Symington.  

Round 1: 

Garrick lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
