Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Quico Salvatierra (2(2) - 0) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Dale Morataya(9 - 12(2) - 2) from Houston, USA.  Salvatierra weighed in at 229 pounds And 8 ounces, while Morataya weighed in at 225 pounds And 3 ounces.

Morataya gets on the inside.  Salvatierra digs in a solid right hook to Morataya's body.  
Morataya forces Salvatierra to back into the ropes.  Salvatierra lands a firm cross.

Salvatierra steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Morataya recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Salvatierra steps to the outside.  Salvatierra feints a jab, and then lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Salvatierra feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND MORATAYA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Morataya now seems to have his senses back.  
Salvatierra lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Morataya recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Salvatierra lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Salvatierra feints a cross, and then lands a stinging overhand left.  
Salvatierra is on target with a solid cross.  
Salvatierra is looking to keep his distance.  Salvatierra feints a jab, fooling Morataya into launching a right hook counter.  Salvatierra is waiting for the shot and counters with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  MORATAYA IS HURT!  
Salvatierra is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Salvatierra lands a right hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MORATAYA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Morataya now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Salvatierra lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Salvatierra lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Salvatierra lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Salvatierra sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Morataya's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Morataya's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Morataya's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Morataya steps inside.  Morataya pivots to the side of his opponent.  Morataya throws a right uppercut, but Salvatierra holds on to his opponent.  Salvatierra leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Salvatierra is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Salvatierra and breaks the clinch.  
Morataya pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Morataya sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Salvatierra is on target with an overhand left.  
Morataya walks Salvatierra onto the ropes.  Morataya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.
