Rex David vs Owen Rees

Boxing Daily Report from the GOAT Promotions promoted show at USA-Colorado Gym, Denver,  taking place on 06/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex David (24(11) - 4(2)) who hails from Longmont, USA and Owen Rees(27(11) - 10(4)) from Provo, USA.  Both David and Rees weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Nanney, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mostyn, Mark Woodhouse and Alec Speir.  

Round 1: 

David steps inside.  Rees tries to land a right hook, but David sidesteps and counters with a cross.
