Jack Paranihi vs Cody Bran

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Mystery Creek Event Centre, Hamilton,  taking place on 12/11/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack The Lad Paranihi (13(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Cody Bran(3 - 4(2) - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Paranihi weighed in at 105 pounds, while Bran weighed in at 104 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is George Addair, and the three ringside judges are Billy Donald, Sam Shirah and Dale Bransfield.  

Round 1: 

Paranihi closes the distance.  Bran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Paranihi lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Paranihi holds on to his opponent.  Paranihi pushes his forearm into Bran's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Bran quickly recovers. 
Paranihi closes the distance.  Bran throws a left uppercut, but Paranihi clinches his opponent.  Paranihi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Paranihi to stop fouling.  
Paranihi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Paranihi ties up his opponent.  Paranihi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Paranihi manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Paranihi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Paranihi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bran is on target with a right hook.  Paranihi holds on to his opponent.  Paranihi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Paranihi is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Paranihi ties up his opponent.  Paranihi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bran feints a right hook, but Paranihi does not fall for it and responds with a right hook.  
Bran steps away from his opponent.  Paranihi feints a jab, but Bran is not fooled and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Paranihi gets on the inside.  Paranihi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Paranihi throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Paranihi ties up his opponent.  Paranihi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Bran's kidney. Paranihi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Paranihi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Paranihi advances into close range.  Paranihi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Paranihi lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Paranihi clinches his opponent.  Paranihi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Paranihi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Bran almost instantly recovers. 
Paranihi leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bran steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Paranihi gets on the inside.  Bran pivots from in front of his opponent.  Paranihi drives a solid left hook into Bran's body.  
Paranihi is on target with a SAVAGE right hook.  BRAN IS HURT!  
Paranihi senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bran and just needs the right shot.  Paranihi EXPLODES a MASSIVE right hook into his opponents face.  BRAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Bran now seems to have got his legs back.  
Paranihi lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bran recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Paranihi lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Paranihi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bran connects with a cross.  Bran throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Paranihi steps inside.  Bran pivots to the right of his opponent.  Paranihi lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS BRAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Bran recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Paranihi digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Paranihi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Paranihi lands with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bran's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bran's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bran's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Paranihi lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Paranihi advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Paranihi clinches his opponent.  Paranihi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Paranihi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bran behind the head. The ref breaks Paranihi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bran is on target with a cross.  
Bran steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Bran sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Paranihi digs in a right hook to Bran's body.  
Paranihi is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Paranihi advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Bran sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Paranihi drives a potent left hook into his opponents body.  BRAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Paranihi drives a right hook into Bran's body.  
Paranihi is on target with a nasty right hook.  BRAN IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Paranihi!
