Michi Koizumi vs Daiki Takeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo,  taking place on 05/11/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WOWOW, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michi Koizumi (29(22) - 1(1)) who hails from Fujisawa, Japan and Daiki Takeda(20(17) - 10(8)) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Koizumi and Takeda weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kei Mayeda, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Mikami, Goro Oyama and Yasushi Nakashima.  

Round 1: 

Koizumi is on target with a cross.  
Takeda is on target with an overhand left.

Takeda steps inside and drives a telling left uppercut into his opponents body.  KOIZUMI IS HURT!  
Koizumi could be stopped here, if Takeda can find the right shot!  Takeda lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Koizumi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Koizumi steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Takeda gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Takeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Koizumi lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Takeda advances into close range.  Takeda senses Koizumi is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Takeda lands a right uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING KOIZUMI DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Koizumi has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Takeda tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Takeda lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Takeda knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Takeda lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Koizumi is looking in serious trouble here...the ref steps in and waves the fight off!  He's seen enough!  The winner by TKO is Takeda!
