Connor Gwynn vs Arnie Whitehorn

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 04/11/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Gwynn (11(11) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Arnie Whitehorn(38 - 9(5) - 2) from Surrey, Canada.  Both Gwynn and Whitehorn weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Oliver, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Henry, Johnny Smith and Aramis Duvauchelle.  

Round 1: 

Gwynn lands a firm cross.  Gwynn throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gwynn steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Gwynn steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gwynn lands with a solid jab.  Gwynn throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Whitehorn pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Gwynn closes the distance.  Whitehorn sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gwynn hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Gwynn connects with a sharp left hook.  Whitehorn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gwynn.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Whitehorn lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Gwynn steps inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Whitehorn connects with a cross.  
Whitehorn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Whitehorn walks Gwynn down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gwynn throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Whitehorn connects with a left uppercut.

Gwynn steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Whitehorn is looking to keep his distance.  Gwynn stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Gwynn connects with a CRUSHING right hook.  WHITEHORN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Gwynn lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING WHITEHORN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Whitehorn now seems to have got his legs back.  
Whitehorn pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Gwynn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gwynn tries to land a right hook, but Whitehorn sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gwynn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gwynn lands a solid cross.  
Gwynn is looking to close the distance.  Whitehorn attempts to land a left hook, but Gwynn sidesteps and counters with a forceful cross.  WHITEHORN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Gwynn knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Gwynn lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS WHITEHORN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Whitehorn now seems to have his senses back.

Some sustained pressure from Gwynn could be enough to finish Whitehorn!  Gwynn lands a CRUSHING left uppercut.  WHITEHORN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT WHITEHORN IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Gwynn!
