Russell Llywelyn vs Colin Dalton

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 21/10/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Russell Llywelyn (0 - 0) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Colin Dalton(4 - 8(3) - 3) from Portsmouth, UK.  Llywelyn weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Dalton weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Ivers, and the three ringside judges are Dai Winstone, Sammy Farrell and Brendan Pintor.  

Round 1:

Llywelyn lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Llywelyn sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Dalton's body.  
Llywelyn is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dalton is looking to close the distance.  Llywelyn lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Llywelyn manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Llywelyn lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Llywelyn clinches his opponent.  Llywelyn pushes his forearm into Dalton's face.  The ref breaks Llywelyn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Llywelyn drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  Llywelyn clinches his opponent.  Llywelyn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Llywelyn pushes his forearm into Dalton's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Llywelyn is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Dalton's body.  
Llywelyn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Llywelyn strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Dalton attempts to land a jab, but Llywelyn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Llywelyn advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Llywelyn could be enough to finish Dalton!  Llywelyn lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, KNOCKING DALTON DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Dalton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Llywelyn closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Llywelyn lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Llywelyn throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Llywelyn clinches his opponent.  Llywelyn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Llywelyn lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Llywelyn ties up his opponent.  Llywelyn pushes his forearm into Dalton's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dalton throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Llywelyn closes the distance.  Dalton pivots from in front of his opponent.  Llywelyn lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Llywelyn clinches his opponent.  Llywelyn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Llywelyn hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Llywelyn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Llywelyn lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Dalton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dalton's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Dalton's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Llywelyn closes the distance.  Dalton goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Llywelyn's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
