Corey Pennie vs Veltry Buah

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Bellville Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 15/10/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Corey Pennie (7(5) - 2) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Veltry Buah(9(5) - 2(1) - 1) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Pennie and Buah weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Bongi Rantie, Luvolwethu Nyatama and Colin Ntuli.  

Round 1: 

Buah tries to land a jab, but Pennie blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Pennie is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.

Pennie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Pennie attempts to land a left hook, but Buah blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Buah advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Pennie on the ropes.  Pennie drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribcage.  BUAH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Pennie stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pennie whips in a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  BUAH IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Pennie slams a spiteful left hook into Buah's ribs.  BUAH IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Buah has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Pennie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pennie throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Buah lands with a spiteful jab.  Buah tries to land a jab, but Pennie sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Buah lands a stinging left hook.  Buah throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.

Pennie tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Pennie knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Pennie lands a mean right hook.  DOWN GOES BUAH!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Buah now seems to have his senses back.
