Danijel Brusic vs Dewitt Beuerlein

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Arena Leipzig, Leipzig,  taking place on 29/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Danijel Brusic (21(20) - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Dewitt Beuerlein(8 - 9(3) - 5) from Bonn, Germany.  Brusic weighed in at 200 pounds, while Beuerlein weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Odhert Jahr, and the three ringside judges are Eldwin Betker, Lukas Gehman and Emo Abrell.  

Round 1: 

Brusic lands a straight 1 - 2.

Beuerlein is looking to close the distance.  Brusic is on target with a left hook.  Brusic clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brusic pushes his forearm into Beuerlein's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brusic about fouling.

Beuerlein advances into close range.  Brusic pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Beuerlein steps inside.  Brusic is on target with a firm left hook to Beuerlein's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE BEUERLEIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Beuerlein recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Brusic is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Brusic switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Beuerlein is looking to close the distance.  Brusic pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Brusic tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a stiff jab.

Brusic lands a hard jab.  
Brusic switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Beuerlein almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beuerlein's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Beuerlein's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Beuerlein's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Beuerlein advances into close range.  Brusic pivots to the side of his opponent.  Brusic is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Brusic holds on to his opponent.  Brusic is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Brusic throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Brusic tries to keep the action at long range and lands a HUGE overhand right.  BEUERLEIN IS HURT!  
Brusic senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Brusic lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS BEUERLEIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Beuerlein now seems to have got his legs back.  
Brusic lands a firm cross.  
Beuerlein advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Brusic clinches his opponent.  Brusic leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Brusic pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Brusic steps away from his opponent.  Brusic feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.  
Brusic lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Brusic steps to the outside and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Brusic lands a cross, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Brusic lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Beuerlein closes the distance.  Brusic drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Brusic tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Brusic lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Brusic lands a MASSIVE overhand right.  BEUERLEIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Beuerlein quickly recovers. 
Beuerlein gets on the inside.  Brusic connects with a VICIOUS right hook.  BEUERLEIN IS HURT!  Beuerlein wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Brusic dabs at his face checking for damage.  Beuerlein quickly recovers. 
Brusic DETONATES a nasty right hook on his opponents face.  BEUERLEIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Brusic!
