Joshua Mullen vs Hanu Paekau

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at United Center, Chicago,  taking place on 24/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Mullen (13(9) - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Hanu Paekau(6 - 1 - 1) from Honolulu, USA.  Both Mullen and Paekau weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Oman, and the three ringside judges are Arran McGee, Nathan Espy and Richie Janos.  

Round 1: 

Mullen gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Paekau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Paekau pivots from in front of his opponent.  Paekau throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mullen to stop fouling.  
Paekau switches the action to the outside.  Mullen lands a ramrod jab.  
Mullen is on target with a solid cross.  
Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Paekau is on target with a right uppercut.  Paekau throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Paekau's body.  
Paekau digs in a left hook to Mullen's liver.  Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mullen tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mullen lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mullen digs in a right hook to Paekau's body.  
Mullen pivots to the right of his opponent.  Paekau throws a left uppercut, but Mullen ties up his opponent.  Paekau is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mullen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mullen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mullen lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Paekau behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mullen lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, KNOCKING PAEKAU DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Paekau now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mullen slams a mean right hook into his opponents body.  PAEKAU IS HURT!  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Paekau tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mullen behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Paekau.  Paekau recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Paekau switches the action to the outside.  Mullen connects with a cross.  
Mullen advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Mullen lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Paekau steps away from his opponent.  Mullen hits home with a firm cross.  
Mullen drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen is looking to close the distance and walks Paekau down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mullen digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mullen tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mullen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mullen lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Paekau is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Paekau feints a left hook, but Mullen is not fooled and is on target with a right uppercut to Paekau's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Paekau's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Paekau's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mullen throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mullen lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mullen lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mullen advances into close range and manouvers Paekau onto the ropes.  Mullen connects with a right hook.  
Paekau drives a left hook into Mullen's liver.  
Mullen slams a spiteful left hook into his opponents body.  PAEKAU HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Paekau is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mullen steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mullen closes the distance.  Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to Paekau's body.  
Mullen gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Mullen lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Mullen drives a telling left hook into Paekau's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PAEKAU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mullen attempts to land a left uppercut, but Paekau blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
It looks like Paekau has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Paekau attempts to land a jab, but Mullen blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Mullen advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Paekau almost instantly recovers.

Paekau lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Mullen lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Mullen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
