Nicandro Villavicencio vs Leonardo Gonsalez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Carolina promoted show at Carolina Briseno, Carolina,  taking place on 15/11/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nicandro Villavicencio (14 - 8(6) - 3) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Leonardo Gonsalez(28(16) - 3(1)) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Both Villavicencio and Gonsalez weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rafael Alarcon, and the three ringside judges are Oihane Cifuentes, Vicente Lana and Oihane Cifuentes.  

Round 1: 

Gonsalez lands a firm cross.  Gonsalez attempts to land a cross, but Villavicencio slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gonsalez advances into close range.  Gonsalez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Gonsalez advances into close range.  Gonsalez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gonsalez lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gonsalez holds on to his opponent.  Gonsalez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Villavicencio behind the head. 
Gonsalez cuts off the ring, trapping Villavicencio on the ropes.  Gonsalez pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Gonsalez switches the action to the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  
Gonsalez closes the distance.  Gonsalez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Villavicencio throws a right hook, but Gonsalez ties up his opponent.  Gonsalez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gonsalez pushes his forearm into Villavicencio's face.  The ref breaks Gonsalez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
