Vince Spang vs James Naismith

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Top Gym, Miami,  taking place on 04/11/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Vince Spang (4(3) - 0) who hails from San Antonio, USA and James Naismith(3 - 6(1) - 1) from Seattle, USA.  Spang weighed in at 168 pounds, while Naismith weighed in at 167 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Blake Hyslop, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Poyner, Chris Villalta and Paul Romans.  

Round 1: 

Spang is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Spang pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Spang sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Spang feints a right hook, and then lands a solid jab.  
Spang connects with a sharp right hook.  
Spang walks Naismith onto the ropes.  Spang drives a solid right hook into Naismith's body.  
Spang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
It looks like Naismith has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Spang pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Spang walks Naismith down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Spang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Spang lands a left hook.  Spang clinches his opponent.  Spang pushes his forearm into Naismith's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Spang to stop fouling.  
Spang pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Spang throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Spang clinches his opponent.  Spang leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Spang pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Naismith quickly recovers. 
Spang gets on the inside and forces Naismith to back into the ropes.  Spang pivots to the right of his opponent.  Spang throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Spang holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Spang pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Spang lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Naismith steps to the outside.  Spang feints a jab, tricking Naismith into throwing a left hook counter.  Spang avoids the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Spang retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Naismith is whaling away with hooks, but Spang keeps his defence tight.  
Spang gets on the inside.  Naismith pivots to the left of his opponent.  Spang drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Spang lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Naismith quickly recovers. 
Naismith feints a right hook, and then attempts to land a jab, but Spang sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Spang gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Spang lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Naismith's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Naismith's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Naismith's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Naismith's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Spang closes the distance and SLAMS a CRUSHING left hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE NAISMITH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Spang senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Spang lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND NAISMITH IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Naismith has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Spang lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Spang ties up his opponent.  Spang leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Spang lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Naismith pivots from in front of his opponent.  Spang digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Spang is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Spang drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Spang lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Spang gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Spang senses Naismith is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Spang lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercuts followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS NAISMITH TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Spang closes the distance.  Spang DETONATES a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut on his opponents face.  NAISMITH IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE NAISMITH THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Spang!
