Ponce Jerez vs Juan Mijares

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Pollos Bombeados Box promoted show at Los Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 22/11/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Jerez (6(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Juan Mijares(27(8) - 13(9) - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Jerez weighed in at 128 pounds and 14 ounces, while Mijares weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Callejas, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Guillen, Vicente Pareja and Cezar Gall.
