Naftali Kahata vs Waqar Matin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Nzimbi, Mombasa,  taking place on 28/11/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naftali Kahata (2 - 6 - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Waqar Matin(4 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Kahata and Matin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Waciuma, and the three ringside judges are Joey Keino, Lisimba Dalrymple and Polo Kogo.  

Round 1: 

Matin switches the action to the outside.  Kahata hits home with a cross.  
Kahata is looking to close the distance.  Matin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Matin dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Matin.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
