John Finlay vs Joe Ables

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Wellington Easton, Wellington,  taking place on 30/11/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Finlay (9 - 15(3) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Joe Ables(5 - 6(1) - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Finlay weighed in at 230 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ables weighed in at 212 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Denton Rattray, and the three ringside judges are Brad Milner, Jonathan Laurie and Gareth Page.

Finlay steps to the outside.  Finlay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Finlay throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ables closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  Finlay holds on to his opponent.  Finlay pushes his forearm into Ables's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Finlay.
