Javier Silvestre vs Cole Abbott

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 09/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Silvestre (15(12) - 1(1)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Cole Abbott(18(10) - 3(1)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Silvestre weighed in at 112 pounds, while Abbott weighed in at 112 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Pasha, and the three ringside judges are Dave Markle, Jasper Fairlie and Sean Drews.  

Round 1: 

Silvestre throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Abbott connects with a left hook.  
Abbott manouvers Silvestre onto the ropes.  Abbott drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Silvestre hits home with a stinging cross.  
Silvestre pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Silvestre is looking to close the distance.  Silvestre quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to Abbott's ribs.
