Andy Coppin vs Zachary Carrington

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Mystery Creek Event Centre, Hamilton,  taking place on 12/11/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Andy Coppin (1(1) - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Zachary Carrington(1 - 1 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Coppin and Carrington weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Addair, and the three ringside judges are Sam Shirah, Billy Donald and Dale Bransfield.  

Round 1: 

Carrington tries to land a right hook, but Coppin dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Coppin steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Coppin is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Coppin ties up his opponent.  Coppin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Coppin about fouling.  
Coppin manages to force Carrington onto the ropes.  Coppin lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Coppin holds on to his opponent.  Coppin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Coppin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carrington throws a right uppercut, but Coppin ties up his opponent.  Coppin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Coppin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Coppin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Coppin ties up his opponent.  Coppin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Carrington's kidney. The ref breaks Coppin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carrington quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Coppin is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Coppin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Coppin lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Coppin is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Coppin is on target with a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES CARRINGTON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Carrington has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
