Henry Mpakassa vs Jerome Badenhorst

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Krige, Soweto,  taking place on 02/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Mpakassa (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Jerome Badenhorst(2(1) - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Mpakassa weighed in at 237 pounds and 13 ounces, while Badenhorst weighed in at 234 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Khumalo, and the three ringside judges are Arali Kessels, Bongani Zungu and Ndumisa Ntuli.

Badenhorst quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm left uppercut to Mpakassa's body.  
Badenhorst advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mpakassa throws a left hook, but Badenhorst clinches his opponent.  Badenhorst is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
