Brendan Kroninger vs Chris Willemsen

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Cleveland Steen, Cleveland,  taking place on 06/12/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Kroninger (30(18) - 5(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Chris Willemsen(14 - 5 - 5 - 1(NC)) from Columbus, USA.  Both Kroninger and Willemsen weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Boyle, and the three ringside judges are Richard Gallagher, Bruce Beddoe and Kenzie Schatte.  

Round 1: 

Willemsen steps to the outside.  Kroninger hits home with a cross.  
Willemsen throws a left hook, but Kroninger holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kroninger manouvers Willemsen into a neutral corner.  Kroninger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kroninger hits home with a firm left hook.  
Kroninger steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kroninger pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND WILLEMSEN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Willemsen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kroninger forces Willemsen to retreat onto the ropes.  Kroninger drives a firm right hook into Willemsen's body.  
Kroninger lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Willemsen is looking to keep his distance.  Kroninger lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Willemsen lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kroninger is looking to close the distance.  Kroninger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kroninger throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Kroninger clinches his opponent.  Kroninger leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Kroninger pushes his forearm into Willemsen's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kroninger.  
Kroninger is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Willemsen almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kroninger is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kroninger steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
The right shot from Kroninger could be enough to force the stoppage!  Kroninger lands a right hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING WILLEMSEN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Willemsen now seems to have his senses back.  
Kroninger is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kroninger lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Kroninger lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kroninger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Kroninger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Kroninger lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kroninger lands a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE WILLEMSEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Willemsen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Willemsen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Willemsen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Willemsen hits home with a right hook.  
Kroninger lands a left hook to the head, a jab to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kroninger is on target with a jab.  
Willemsen tries to keep the action at long range.  Kroninger connects with a cross.  
Kroninger lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Kroninger advances into close range.  Kroninger senses Willemsen is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Kroninger lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES WILLEMSEN!  The count reaches 10, but Willemsen is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Kroninger!
