Justin Kidd vs Josh Stephens

Boxing Daily Report from the Jali Promotions promoted show at Nashville Maurice, Nashville,  taking place on 06/12/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Kidd (8 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Nashville, USA and Josh Stephens(45(11) - 13(7) - 1) from Montgomery, USA.  Both Kidd and Stephens weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Rufino, and the three ringside judges are Dennis McKenzie, Leighton Parry and Robert Davidson.  

Round 1: 

Stephens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Kidd throws a left hook, but Stephens holds on to his opponent.  Stephens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stephens.
