Mark Inness vs Mel Whalen

Boxing Daily Report from the Varun Bhat promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 06/12/2044:

Clearly Varun Bhat have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Inness (6 - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and Mel Whalen(3 - 2 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Inness weighed in at 108 pounds, while Whalen weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Protheroe, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Greig, Matt Dzikowski and Dave Maddox.
