Rodrigo Abeyta vs Xavier Tardio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Rogelio Mare Gym, Turmero,  taking place on 07/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Abeyta (6 - 14 - 3) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Xavier Tardio(6 - 2(2)) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Abeyta weighed in at 154 pounds, while Tardio weighed in at 154 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Tardio came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Fiel, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Callejas, Angel Hermida and Carlos Juliana.
