Connor Gwynn vs Wilson Marcus

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 07/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Gwynn (12(12) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Wilson Marcus(20 - 13(2)) from Bonn, Germany.  Both Gwynn and Marcus weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aramis Duvauchelle, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Kopa, Henry Popkin and Valentin Ogier.  

Round 1: 

Gwynn lands an overhand left to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand right to the head.  
Marcus attempts to land an overhand right, but Gwynn sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Gwynn is on target with a jab.  
Marcus gets on the inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gwynn steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Marcus recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Marcus advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARCUS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Gwynn switches the action to the outside.  Gwynn is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Gwynn lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MARCUS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Marcus now seems to have his senses back.  
Marcus steps inside and manouvers Gwynn onto the ropes.  Gwynn lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Gwynn is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gwynn is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Marcus slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gwynn lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Marcus is looking to close the distance and forces Gwynn to retreat onto the ropes.  Marcus hits home with a right hook.  
Marcus advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Gwynn steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Gwynn lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Gwynn hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Gwynn lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Marcus advances into close range.  Gwynn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcus quickly recovers. 
Gwynn steps to the outside.  Gwynn feints a jab, tricking Marcus into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Gwynn springs the trap and counters with  a firm right hook.  
Gwynn is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Marcus steps inside.  Gwynn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcus almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gwynn's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Marcus's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Marcus's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Gwynn lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gwynn finds the target with a jab.  
Marcus gets on the inside.  Gwynn pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Marcus manages to force Gwynn onto the ropes.  Marcus digs in a left uppercut to Gwynn's body.  
Gwynn pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcus quickly recovers. 
Gwynn attempts to land an overhand right, but Marcus sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Gwynn hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Gwynn steps away from his opponent and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Marcus steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Marcus lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Gwynn attempts to land a left hook, but Marcus slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gwynn throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gwynn tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Marcus closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Gwynn sidesteps and counters with a DEVASTATING cross.  MARCUS IS HURT!  
Marcus walks Gwynn onto the ropes.  The right shot from Gwynn could be enough to force the stoppage!  Gwynn lands a FEARSOME right hook.  MARCUS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Marcus now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Gwynn hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Gwynn drives a right hook into Marcus's body.  
Gwynn finds the target with a jab.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Marcus sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gwynn connects with a MASSIVE cross.  MARCUS IS DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gwynn!
