Rodrigo Montanez vs Olindo Meraz

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanja Promotions promoted show at Porfio Ras Gym, Cartagena,  taking place on 19/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Bolivar Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Montanez (9 - 5) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Olindo Meraz(2 - 1) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Montanez weighed in at 168 pounds, while Meraz weighed in at 168 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Meraz came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Matas, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Matas, Carlos Trillo and Rodrigo Aguilera.
