Garland Radiguet vs Mel Leitch

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Robert Lyell Gym, Vancouver,  taking place on 19/12/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Garland Radiguet (7 - 9(2) - 4) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Mel Leitch(5 - 0) from Surrey, Canada.  Both Radiguet and Leitch weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alec Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Mick Hanning, Zachary Kenna and Paul Trott.  

Round 1: 

Leitch closes the distance.  Radiguet attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Leitch's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
