Santiago Carias vs Joaquin Alcalde

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Oeste Gallardo, Santo Domingo Oeste,  taking place on 21/12/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Carias (2 - 5 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Joaquin Alcalde(6 - 8(2) - 5) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Carias and Alcalde weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xeres Ceniceros, and the three ringside judges are Senon Barcenas, Xaverius Bras and Juan Henao.
