Joey Latta vs Ian Toshack

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at O2 Academy, Glasgow,  taking place on 07/01/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joey Latta (2 - 0) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Ian Toshack(3 - 2(2) - 2) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Latta and Toshack weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Greenaway, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Arif, John McVicker and Patrick McBeth.  

Round 1: 

Latta closes the distance.  Toshack throws a right hook, but Latta ties up his opponent.  Latta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Latta tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Toshack's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Latta about fouling.
