Hitoshi Shimamoto vs Michi Ohta

Boxing Daily Report from the Jely Pr. promoted show at Sakai Murakami, Sakai,  taking place on 26/12/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hitoshi Shimamoto (16 - 16(1) - 3) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Michi Ohta(12 - 13 - 2) from Toyonaka, Japan.  Both Shimamoto and Ohta weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aoi Ohno, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Watanabe, Satoru Muraoka and Kyo Kuramoto.  

Round 1: 

Shimamoto steps inside.  Shimamoto pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ohta lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shimamoto steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but Ohta parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Shimamoto steps inside.  Ohta pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Shimamoto's ribs.  
Shimamoto feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Ohta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shimamoto hits home with a cross.  
Shimamoto switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ohta's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
