Arturo Ciani vs Liberatore Cingari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Liguria promoted show at Genoa Bianchi, Genoa,  taking place on 01/01/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Liguria Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arturo Ciani (15(12) - 0) who hails from La Spezia, Italy and Liberatore Cingari(5 - 4 - 4) from Genoa, Italy.  Both Ciani and Cingari weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Malgieri, and the three ringside judges are Carlo Di Giorgio, Lorenzo Bonaccini and Marco Masoero.  

Round 1: 

Ciani gets on the inside.  Ciani lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Cingari wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ciani dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ciani has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Cingari is looking to keep his distance.  Ciani lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ciani lands a solid left hook.  Ciani clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ciani pushes his forearm into Cingari's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ciani to stop fouling.  
Ciani walks Cingari down, trapping him in the red corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ciani dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ciani.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.  
Ciani lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ciani ties up his opponent.  Ciani pushes his forearm into Cingari's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ciani.  
Ciani lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cingari quickly recovers. 
Ciani lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ciani gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cingari pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Ciani advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ciani lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Ciani advances into close range and walks Cingari down, trapping him in the red corner.  Ciani DETONATES a MASSIVE right hook on his opponents face.  CINGARI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cingari recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ciani is on target with a right hook to Cingari's ribs.  Ciani tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ciani is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ciani advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ciani gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ciani lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ciani steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ciani tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Ciani's liver.  
Cingari is on target with a right uppercut.  
Ciani advances into close range and connects with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cingari's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cingari's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cingari's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cingari's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Ciani forces Cingari to back into the ropes.  Ciani digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cingari tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ciani lands a jab, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ciani gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Ciani clinches his opponent.  Ciani tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cingari behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ciani gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ciani hits home with a left uppercut.  
Ciani lands a sharp left hook.  
Ciani lands a solid cross.  
Ciani steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ciani is on target with a solid jab.  
Ciani connects with a left uppercut.  Ciani holds on to his opponent.  Ciani uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cingari's kidney. The referee warns Ciani and breaks the clinch.  
Ciani connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Cingari steps away from his opponent.  Ciani hits home with a weighty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE CINGARI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ciani steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from Ciani could be enough to finish Cingari!  Ciani lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING CINGARI DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Cingari is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Ciani!
