Corey Pennie vs Veltry Buah

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Green Point Athletics Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 17/12/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Corey Pennie (8(6) - 2) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Veltry Buah(9(5) - 3(2) - 1) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Pennie and Buah weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Nyatama, and the three ringside judges are Jake Tshipapayi, Lee Katanda and Useni Mfeketho.

Buah advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Pennie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pennie crashes a big left hook to his opponents body.  BUAH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Pennie stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pennie lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING BUAH DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Buah now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Pennie lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Buah is looking to close the distance.  Some sustained pressure from Pennie could be enough to finish Buah!  Pennie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING BUAH TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Pennie!
