Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town,  taking place on 24/12/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Yavuz Arikan (21(21) - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Majid Bettar(12(5) - 2(2) - 1) from Taif, Saudi Arabia.  Both Arikan and Bettar weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Runako Mashaba, and the three ringside judges are La Vonn Dorkenoo, Rob Ndombe and Jake Tshipapayi.
