Brendan Cohran vs Mike Burke

Boxing Daily Report from the Fanoosyan Promotions promoted show at Tacoma Bigham, Tacoma,  taking place on 06/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Washington Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Cohran (16 - 18(2) - 3) who hails from Seattle, USA and Mike Burke(2 - 5) from Spokane, USA.  Both Cohran and Burke weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Abel, and the three ringside judges are John Jean-Baptiste, John Ante and Jay Aries.  

Round 1: 

Cohran tries to land an overhand right, but Burke blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cohran drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Burke is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Burke pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Cohran steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cohran's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Burke's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Burke's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Burke steps inside.  Cohran wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burke dabs at his face checking for damage.
