Xaver Fontana vs Jerrold Escovedo

Boxing Daily Report from the Anyidoho Promotions promoted show at Vidal Pascua Gym, Leon,  taking place on 08/01/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Fontana (2 - 1 - 3) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Jerrold Escovedo(5 - 5 - 5) from Celaya, Mexico.  Fontana weighed in at 254 pounds And 7 ounces, while Escovedo weighed in at 238 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Nova, and the three ringside judges are Berto Escajeda, Cruz Pilar and Larenzo Camerino.  

Round 1: 

Escovedo closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Fontana hits home with a left hook.
