Brad Kirkbride vs Quiqui Narvaez

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 17/02/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brad Kirkbride (14(8) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Quiqui Narvaez(23 - 5(3) - 1) from Valparaiso, Chile.  Kirkbride weighed in at 126 pounds, while Narvaez weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Franchot Racine, Mark Mostyn and Severin Duchesnay.  

Round 1: 

Kirkbride lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kirkbride cuts off the ring, trapping Narvaez on the ropes.  Kirkbride sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kirkbride advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Kirkbride hits home with a right uppercut.  
Narvaez digs in a left uppercut to Kirkbride's body.  
Kirkbride is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kirkbride advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Kirkbride lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kirkbride pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to Narvaez's ribs.

Narvaez gets on the inside.  Narvaez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kirkbride lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Kirkbride throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kirkbride lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Narvaez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Kirkbride advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Kirkbride's liver.  
Kirkbride connects with a stinging right hook.  
Kirkbride is on target with a potent right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE NARVAEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Narvaez almost instantly recovers. 
Kirkbride forces Narvaez to back into the ropes.  Kirkbride drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Kirkbride tries to land a right uppercut, but Narvaez blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Narvaez drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Kirkbride contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Narvaez lands a cross.

Kirkbride steps inside.  Kirkbride pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Narvaez drives a right hook into Kirkbride's body.  
Kirkbride is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Kirkbride attempts to land a cross, but Narvaez sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Narvaez is on target with a cross.  
Kirkbride steps inside and slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  NARVAEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Narvaez quickly recovers. 
Kirkbride pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Kirkbride steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Narvaez steps inside.  Kirkbride lands a potent right hook.  NARVAEZ IS HURT!  
Kirkbride stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kirkbride connects with a spiteful left hook.  NARVAEZ IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Narvaez now seems to have got his legs back.  
Kirkbride lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  Kirkbride throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kirkbride drives a right hook into Narvaez's body.  Kirkbride wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Narvaez dabs at his face checking for damage.

The right shot from Kirkbride could be enough to force the stoppage!  Kirkbride lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND NARVAEZ IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Narvaez now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
